Hi there! I’m Melissa: full-time daughter, wife, mommy, sister and friend. I am currently serving as a pastoral counselor at my church and finishing up my Master of Divinity (fancy term for seminarian) with a concentration in Pastoral Counseling.
I am the product of a beautifully blended Christian family and today I am growing one of my own.
I live in Tampa, FL with my husband Jacob, daughter Melody and fur baby Tux.
With the demands of motherhood and the busyness of so many other areas of life, it can be difficult to juggle it all.
Navigating the challenges associated with feeding a toddler with allergies, keeping a home livable, having a career and finding time to take a shower can all be very daunting tasks.
I am learning along the way that each day is a new beginning and that belonging to a strong community of encouragement and love is a non-negotiable in life.
My hope is to encourage others by building a community of women who choose to be the encouragers in their own personal areas of influence.
Ultimately my life goal is to point any and all success to the hope that is found in Christ and daily make melodies in my heart to the Lord by choosing to love others and myself.
